Support the river

Every dollar gets its boots wet.

River Tree Volunteers is all-volunteer, so your gift doesn't pay salaries — it buys trash bags, gloves, canoe repairs, trailer fuel, and native plants. We're a 501(c)(3); donations are tax-deductible.

Amounts are examples — every donation of any size goes into the same river fund and gets used where it's needed most.

Where it goes

You're funding the crew that pulled 8,444 tires

A tire buried in river silt takes a rope, a shovel, three volunteers, and a truck to reach a recycler. Multiply that by 150 a year — plus 32 tons of trash — and you can see why gear wears out.

  • Cleanup supplies and disposal costs
  • Canoe fleet upkeep, life vests, and safety gear
  • Native plants and restoration materials
  • Trail-building tools and materials
